The New Security Paradigms Workshop is a unique venue for exploring current trends and ground-breaking ideas in computer security research. NSPW is an invitation-only event consisting of in-depth 1-hour discussions of each of the 10-12 accepted papers. Authors give short introductions to their work, focussing on its impact as a new paradigm for computer security and/or its challenges to existing ways of thinking. All participants read each paper in advance and come prepared to discuss it. Attendees commit to the workshop’s social contract, including attendance of all event parts and a no-device policy. One author of each paper has to attend, and additional authors may be invited if space permits.
NSPW 2025 is scheduled for August 24-27 at the Schlosshotel Münchhausen, in Aerzen, Germany. As in the past, this choice of venue is designed to facilitate interactions between the invited attendees throughout the workshop. The workshop spans 4 days and includes social events and networking opportunities.
